Marlin fishing report Puerto Vallarta

Big Marlin fishing in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta fishing report October  2016 It has been another great month of fishing the Blue and Black Marlin have been red hot at Corbetena and El Banco as well Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, and Dorado. The most consistent bite has been Marlin so all you Anglers looking to catch a Billfsh of lifetime now is the time to come down to Puerto Vallarta. The Marlin have been averging 100-300 lbs with a few over 500 lbs. Most of the Marlin have been caught with live bait slow trolling. I know the next questions anglers will ask is it better at the Bank or Corbetena and the answer is every other day has been different one day it is hot at el banco another day more Marlin have been caught at Corbetena. The inshore fishing is heating up as well you will not find any big fish inside the bay but you will find alot of action Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackeral and there has also been a few smaller Dorado as well. contact us for more info.

Puerto Vallarta fishing review 600 lb Marlin Brad Sturm Trophy Blue Marlin

Puerto Vallarta fishing review 600 lb Marlin Brad Sturm Trophy Blue Marlin with PV Sportfishing www.puertovallartafish.com

I have been out on many many charters all over North America for all kinds of fish, and lets first take catching fish out of the equation, service, hard work and friendly fun atmosphere is what you will find on spotlessly clean boats is what you can expect. Fish, (I never will blame a charter for poor fishing, if you fished enough I needn't explain) With that said, after 8 trips over 2 years With PV Sportfishing and We have caught fish! Sailfish, wahoo, Dorado (one that was 63 inches) Marlin, (one was 600 lbs, mine :), these guys NEVER stop working to put you on the fish and bend that rod. This is now an annual trip for me. Puerto Vallarta fishing

Puerto Vallarta fishing report 2013, Dorado, Sailfish, Yellowfin tuna, Grouper, and more. The inshore and offshore bite has picked up this last week We even caught a few Yellowfin tuna, and Sailfish inshore on the south side of the bay which does not happen very often. The most consistent bite inshore has been Bonitos and Jack Crevalle. La Corbetena is producing a mixed batch of game fish Big Dorado, Grouper and Sailfish. The big Yellowfin Tuna are still biting 80-110 miles offshore and been biting live goggle eyes and skip jack baits drifting and trolling slow speeds. The Dorado have been biting inshore and offshore.
www.puertovallartafish.com Puerto Vallarta fishing report June/02/2013 We are right in between fishing seasons here in Puerto Vallarta. Winter fish like Striped Marlin and
Roosterfish are still biting along with Sailfish, Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna. Normally We will catch the first big Black and Blue Marlin in June as well so look out for some big Marlin reports coming soon. Inshore fishing there has been alot of smaller action Jack Crevalle, Bonitos and other smaller species. Sailfish have been biting Live bait off the point of Punta de mita and further down the north shore around the point We have also been catching smaller Dorado and Roosterfish. The Striped Marlin have been biting about 10 miles past the Bank and Cow Yellowfin Tuna are still biting but seem to be getting even further offshore your looking at 90-110 mile run for these cow's. So if you want to catch Yellowfin Tuna right now a overnight charter is necessary this time of the year. Puerto Vallarta fishing Report April/24/13 This last week the weather has been heating up and so has the water temps inside and outside of Banderas bay.The Largest fish in
PV right now is Yellowfin Tuna 150-250 lbs and there boiling but over 80 miles offshore so you need a overnight trip to catch these monsters but if your dream is to catch a big Yellowfin Tuna it is definitely worth the time. Down the north coast by San pancho there has been alot of mahi biting averaging 15-40 lbs the bank has been producing Sailfish and Striped Marlin. Inside the bay We have been catching Jack Crevalle, bonito's and smaller Pargo for more info please contact us.
