Congratulations to Captain Cesar won 1st place Mahi Mahi and 1 st place Sailfish at the 14th International Fishing Tournament last weekend held at Paradise village in Nuevo Vallarta. The Mahi Mahi weighed 40 lbs and the Sailfish was 71 lbs

Puerto Vallarta Mexico fishing Dorado You can catch Dorado all year in around in Puerto Vallarta but are most plentiful in the hotter months of the year. You can fish for Dorado with live bait, lures, or jigs trolling and casting. In Summer months you can normally find smaller Dorado inside Bandera's bay but as the weather cools down you need to get outside the bay either to El Morro, la Corbetena or el banco wherever the hotter bite is. Capt. Scooby took wife my grandson and I on snorkeling trip to Los Arcos and he made sure we had a great time and cared for 5 yr. old grandson in boat so I could get some alone time in water. He took me on 8 hr. fishing trip were we caught enough bonitas for bait and cerviche. Then we caught this nice yellow fin tuna and large jack, awesome trip with great captain and mate , Mario. We also took 4 hr. bay trip with Capt. Cesar and first mate took excellent care of us . Grandson sat in fighting chair and loved catching many bonitas.
