This guy always hooks me up with the best crews. I wanted to do 3 day of fishing so I booked 1 day on a panga and 1 day with Captain Steve Torres on the My Marlin Day 1 Wednesday Sept 28th with Cesar on the Gaviota Super panga, we hooked into a 550-600 pound Black Marlin. My buddy fought this fish for 5 hours getting in all the way to leader and released it. Day 2 ( Oct 1st) we went out on yet ANOTHER epic day of fishing with Steve Torres on the My Marlin. I can not say enough about this guy's crew and his knowledge. I love fishing with such passionate people. I have got fish EVERY time I have been out with this guy! We left Friday at 4am and stayed out until Sat 7pm. Staying out overnight is the only way to go. Friday the first fish I hooked into was a 250 pound Yellow fin. Perfect way to start the day off with a COW. I also landed a 150#. And 80 and 40 pounder the same day. We had another epic 2.5 Tuna fishing Charter We found the fish about 120 miles offshore Puerto Vallarta. We caught 7 Yellowfin Tuna in total all in the 100-250 lb range. We left the Marina Vallarta around 7pm on the 1st and Made it out past the 3rd island by about 5am on the 2nd. The 1st morning was slow all We caught was 1 striped Marlin until about 4pm When we finally had our first Yellowfin Tuna bite of the day. About 5 minutes after we had the first tuna in the boat We had a double hook up and all the sudden We had 3 in boat. All 3 of the Tuna took live bait off the kite. After We took a couple of fish photos it was dark and we called it a day. There was alot of squid around so we caught dozen in the night to try Our luck with live squid bait the next day. The next morning was perfect conditions the water temps were between 79-81 degrees and crystal clear but again We had a slow morning We had 2 kites going with live bait and We were also drifting with a couple of rods with live squid well the squid did not do the trick this time but We had 4 more Tuna hit the kite again all on live goggle eye bait. I got lucky and caught 1 Tuna on film taking the bait off the kite also took some great under water video enjoy.

The Summer is officially here the weather has been heating up and so has La Corbetena and el Banco with those big game fish Puerto Vallarta is Known for captain Steve Torres boated the first Blue Marlin of the season aboard the Ana Maria at El Banco and Captain Cesar Perez landed a Monster 300+ LB Yellowfin Tuna at Corbetena both fishing spots have also been red hot with Sailfish and Dorado Corbetena has also been producing some big red Snappers. The Cow Yellowfin Tuna have been biting live bait Skip jacks and live goggle eye the blue Marlin bit a live skip Jack. The Sailfish have been biting a variety of bait dead live and also lures slow trolling. Inside banderas bay we have been catching smaller Dorado/ Mahi Mahi.
