Puerto Vallarta fishing report inshore and offshore
Not alot has changed since my last report the Yellowfin Tuna are still biting 60 + miles offshore on 14 hour
or over night charters. We have caught a couple of Blue Marlin trolling in the same area as well. For May
the Sailfish bite has been very slow but 2 small Sailfish were caught inside the bay last week which is a
good sign that we will see alot more in the next couple weeks. The most action other then the 14 hour or
overnight charters has been inside the bay we have been catching lots of Jack Crevalle, and Bonitas. and
8 hour charters off the point we have caught mix batch of African Pompano, Roosterfish, Jack Crevalle,
and Red Snappers.

Puerto Vallarta fishing Charters http://www.puertovallartafish.com/chartersEpic Tuna fishing in Puerto Vallarta Booked my trip through Damon with http://puertovallartafish.com as I always do. This guy always hooks me up with the best crews. I
wanted to do 3 day of fishing so I booked 1 day on a panga and 1 day with Captain Steve Torres on the My Marlin
Day 1 Wednesday Sept 28th with Cesar on the Gaviota Super panga, we hooked into a 550-600 pound Black Marlin. My buddy
fought this fish for 5 hours getting in all the way to leader and released it.
Day 2 ( Oct 1st) we went out on yet ANOTHER epic day of fishing with Steve Torres on the My Marlin. I can not say enough
about this guy's crew and his knowledge. I love fishing with such passionate people. I have got fish EVERY time I have been out
with this guy! We left Friday at 4am and stayed out until Sat 7pm. Staying out overnight is the only way to go.
Friday the first fish I hooked into was a 250 pound Yellow fin. Perfect way to start the day off with a COW. I also landed a 150#.
And 80 and 40 pounder the same day. My 2 buddies with me got 1 35# Yellow fin, one 150lb yellow fin and 4 more Yellowfin 50-
110pounds.
:Grand Total for the Trip:

Puerto Vallarta fishing report March 2016
We have had some big time Tuna fishing so far this month every day has been a little
different but if you put in the time and work there is alot of Tuna biting right now
between 60-80 miles offshore. Even the slower day's when there not biting we are
still seeing big schools and if we have enough patience and time eventually you will
get a bite. Overnight charter is reccomended for Tuna fishermen . Inside Banderas
bay has been plentiful with Jack Crevalle, Bonitas, and a few Red snapper. We are
starting to see more Roosterfish biting off the point of Punta de Mita and El moro.
The Marlin fishing has slowed down a little bit this last week I only saw I big Blue
caught which was a little north of Corbetena but Im sure that the Marlin fishing will
pick right back up in the upcoming weeks. read more
The last few weeks has still been big time fishing offshore Black Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado/ Mahi mahi, Wahoo, and Yellowfuna.
We had big week Black Marlin have been biting at the bank the crew of the Pacific caught the biggest Black Marlin of the week which
was around 500lbs the average was 200-400 lbs which is almost unheard of this time of the year but with water temps still high it looks
like we are going to be seeing Marlin the whole year! Another big surprise was the Yellowfin Tuna starting biting at el banco as well
which we have not seen in a while lately they have been staying further offshore and we were only able to get that far on overnight night
charters but when they are bting at the bank it is a great treat to catch these monster fish on a 12 hr fishing charters. La Corbetena
slowed down for a while but then picked right back up this last week producing Wahoo, Sailfish, and big Dorado. Inshore fishing is good
as well lots of action Jack Crevalle, and Bonitas and few smaller Dorado as well. el moro and Marietas also starting heating up this last
captain Hector found 2 nice Roosterfish there yesterday and also a African Pompano. For more recent Puerto Vallarta fishing reports
